Our Policies are compiled in the Preschool Handbook and reviewed annually by our Board of Directors.Registration & Fees
Licensing requires that children attending Didsbury Preschool be a minimum of 36 months of age and potty trained. A non-refundable Registration Fee of $75 is required at the time of pre-registration for each child entering the preschool program at anytime during the school year. $35 of this covers administrative costs and $40 is applied to your first month's fee. This is nonrefundable. Please read our Preschool Handbook for details on withdrawing your child. Privacy Protection
The Preschool operates under the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). All personal information is kept in a locked area on the Preschool premises. Class Cancellations
From time to time, classes may have to cancelled or cut short, whether due to teacher illness, severe weather, or other uncontrollable reasons. Due to licensing and insurance policies, these are not made up, however, you will be ensured 58 classes for the two-day per week program or 28 classes for those registered in the one day per week program. Please be sure to check daily temperatures as sometimes classes are cancelled at the last minute due to Alberta's winter temperatures. Parental Responsibilities- Preschool Fees are due at the beginning of the year for the entire year. We offer both monthly and half-year payment plans. Please review our Preschool Handbook for details.
- Class time for Morning Classes is 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- Class time for Afternoon Classes is 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
- Parent Helper Days are great opportunities for you to get to know your children's schoolmates and are a lot of fun!
- Each child is to bring his/her own nutritional snack, preferably from Canada's Food Guide.
